Description:Keith Whitehouse kept this cutting on the closure of his primary school.Belgrave Primary was closed towards the end of the 60s as part of the redevelopment programme. Headteacher Mr Mundy was quoted in the Birmingham Mail (see cutting), he said, “I would estimate that nearly 100,000 Birmingham children have been educated at the school” Belgrade Primary was to be replaced by a new school in nearby Knutsford Street (Heath Mount School).
