Description:These date from the 1890s. This part of Balsall Heath was one of the last areas to be developed. It was part of the estate of John Gregory Watkins who died at his home, Woodfield House, Ombersley near Worcester in 1890. Two local roads are named in recognition of this. The pattern of housing around Roshven Road is a densely packed maze of side avenues but they are also noted for their attractive decorative features.
