Description:Christie (Chris)Bartley the second eldest Bartley child gets married. Here the wedding party are outside the church of St John in George Street. Chris is just right of centre in the dark suit, his bride is Betty. Andy (in the light coloured suit) is Chris’s best man. His wife Nellie is on the other side of the Bride. Elizabeth and Sonny the bridegroom’s parents are 2nd and 3rd from the left. It has not been possible to date this exactly, but is known to be of the early 1950’s. The Bartley family lived in Mary Street.
