Description:In the 1970s most of Balsall Heath between Moseley Rd and Pershore Road was demolished to make way for new developments. The top of Moseley Road Library can be seen in the front of the picture and Mount Pleasant School (later Joseph Chamberlain College is to the left. Within a year St Paul's Church (on Moseley Road) was itself facing demolition.
