Description:The family of the late Alfred Knight VC gathered by the road named in his honour. On 9th November they were present at the opening of this new road in the Park Central development of Birmingham. Knight won his VC at Ypres in 1917. He was born in Friston Street, Ladywood and spent his retirement years at nearby Elvetham Road.
