Description:The Albion Picture Palace at Holyhead Road opened on December 16th 1915, managed by Harry Calver. The first film shown was "Salambo". It eventually closed on September 24th 1960. This set of plans is close to the eventual design - the section above the main doorway is the main difference. It also mentions a Bank as being part of the design. Horace Bradley of Temple Row in Birmingham are listed as the architects.
