Date:14th of October 1893 - 19th of October 1893 (c.)
Description:Two premises listed here for this company. It is interesting to note that carpets could be "taken away" for cleaning. No manager is listed for the Soho Road branch so it may have been that Walter Price was in fact General Manager for both premises. By 1900 though they had been replaced in Soho Road by a draper's shop run by a Mr Dennis Morgan. The site in Soho Road is right next to the junction with Waverhill Road. Advert taken from the programme for the Handsworth Church Bazaar in 1893.
